What is Coroplast Signs?
Coroplast signs also can be called corrugated plastic signs, corflute signs, correx signs and fluted polypropylene signs, corrugated plastic signs are generally made with weather-resistant PP corrugated boards.
The corflute sign has cost-effective, waterproof, portable, lightweight, and durable. Usually applied to coroplast display shelf, billboards, large screen board, correx signpost sign, day work signs, hazardous location signs, guiding signs and corona board.
How to Screen Print Coroplast Signs?
Screen printing is the most common printing method in correx sheet printing. The advantage of screen printing is that it is cheap and easy to operate. But the biggest drawback of screen printing is that you can't print complex patterns. And the adhesion of the ink is not particularly good, suitable for printing coroplast indoor signs.
The coroplast sign can be corona treated easily, making the printing ink to adsorb on the sheet more firm, therefore the advertising coroplast signs look sharper. Further, the correx signs are perfectly resilient since the corrugated fluting strengthens the surface, which can provide pressure resistance to prevent crushing, warping, and punctures under normal use conditions.
How to UV Print Coroplast Signs?
UV printing is a printing process that dries and cures ink by ultraviolet light. It is necessary to match the ink containing the photosensitizer with the UV curing lamp. The application of UV printing is one of the most important aspects of the corrugated plastic sheet printing industry.
The PP corrugated is UV-printed after corona treatment, which not only can print complex patterns, but also has strong ink adhesion ability, and will not affect the display performance of the coroplast signs in bad weather.
